Great list and I can't wait to see how you do it. My hubby works in an evironmental position and we are always struggling with being green. I think "Nearly Green" is perfect.

The cost and benefits of being green are always being discussed in our household. Organic, not organic? Is it even available in our remote community? Bulk would be nice, but no one sells bulk products here. We have a nice recycling center, so we're lucky in that area.

Will more energy efficient upgrades to our house really pay off - sure they are the right thing to do, but with falling house prices is it the best choice financially.

He has a small hybrid SUV and I have a Scion. I joke that I get the same gas mileage as he does, but for half the price.

I'll keep reading!
